Inspections

Under Inspections you'll see the inspections assigned to you, with the property, scheduled date and tenant contact details. The office books and schedules inspections — your job is to carry them out.

Logging in

  1. Go to notifylandlord.co.uk and click Log in (or open the link the office sent you).
  2. Enter your Email or username and Password — the office will have given you these.
  3. Click Log in.

Forgotten your password? Use Forgot password? on the login screen. To sign out, use the Log out button at the bottom of the left-hand menu. You only ever see the jobs assigned to you.

Arranging access with the tenant

Before you visit, arrange a time to get into the property. This works the same across every job.

  1. Open the job and click Request Access.
  2. Offer up to three times: Option 1 (required), plus Option 2 and Option 3 if you like.
  3. Click Preview to see the email (and text) that goes to the tenant. Edit the wording if you want.
  4. Click Send to tenant. They get a link and pick one of your slots.
  5. You also get a Tenant link you can Copy and send yourself — handy if you'd rather WhatsApp or call them.

Plans changed? Use Re-request Access to offer new times. Every job also shows the tenant's name and phone/email so you can contact them directly.

Carrying out an inspection

  1. Open the inspection and, if needed, use Request Access to confirm your visit time (see above).
  2. Attend the property and click Carry out.
  3. Work through the rooms. For each room:
  • Set the Condition: Good, Fair or Needs attention — tap to set, it saves straight away.
  • Add Notes — any issues, damage or comments — and click Save description.
  • Use Add photos to attach pictures for that room. Remove a wrong one with the ✕.
  • Missing a room? Type its name (e.g. "Kitchen", "Bedroom 1") and click Add room.

When every room is done, click Mark as complete.

What happens next: your inspection moves to Awaiting Approval and comes off your list. The office reviews your rooms, photos and notes and gives the final sign-off — so it's not "done" until they approve it.
